Brighton International wedding – After meeting Sally at Millgrove HQ late last year, it was great to see her finally arrive in the beautiful cars they had arranged for the day. Chris and the boys were already waiting of course, and everyone (well, most guests!) headed inside as soon as the bridal cars arrived.
A formal and traditional ceremony followed, it’s always fun to cover big religious and orthodox weddings, there’s always plenty happening and lots of opportunities for me to create some great memories for our couples. Also, depending on the church and the service, most of the action happens with the bride and groom facing the altar, so being able to get up there and get some front-on shots is great to capture some of the looks and emotion for everyone to check out later.
After the ceremony, we we headed across to Brighton International and took advantage of some of the beautiful gardens there, and later on we used the car park out the back to create some old-school car shots in the dark – and I mean dark, those car lights weren’t there just for show, they were there so I could see what I was focussing on! 🙂
Before that though we headed down to the beach where it was cold and windy (and I mean COLD), and the bridal party did brilliantly to brave the conditions. We were able to grab some great shots of Sally and Chris with the city in the background, and they were rapt with the result.
Then into the very tasteful and stylish black-and-white reception at Brighton International.
Just have to include some kind words from Sally – taken from her review of us on Facebook;
“Jon is a friendly and very professional photographer – We had so much fun on the day and we were so extremely happy with the end result!
Jon captured everything perfectly and I’m so grateful I get to look back at our pictures and remember the whole day over and over again.
I will be recommending Jon over and over again – Thanks Jon, you nailed it!”
