Mon Bijou hosted Fiona and Boris’ wedding in June 2013.
Fiona and Boris engaged me just to capture their ceremony and portraits afterwards. So the first time I saw Fiona on the day was when she was stepping out of a giant pink Hummer limo – I’m not sure it was really supposed to be going down Flinders Lane! 🙂 Some of those drivers really know what they’re doing.
A simple and quick ceremony and we were out into the Melbourne night, to capture some shots of the newlyweds in some very Melbourne locations. Hosier Lane was the first stop to get some shots amongst the famous graffiti in the laneway, and I really love the shot of the two of them walking up the street together – it’s definitely my favourite from the shoot. And even though you can’t see their faces, it’s unmistakably Boris and Fiona.
Then we popped around the corner to use some light, and then out onto Flinders Lane itself where we used some of the natural light from shops usa drugstore no prescription and streetlights to make some Melbourne street wedding photography.
Had a great time and loved this gorgeous couple – could have stayed there and partied on with them 😉
