It was lovely to be back for another Immerse Winery wedding, this time to celebrate the union of Jess and Michael – it seemed like a long time ago they booked with me, and when I checked it was, all the way back in January! Almost a year on and it was great to catch up with them again for their big day.
Preparations were at family homes for both of them – which was super handy for all of us, as they were literally walking distance from each other in Eltham.
Then it was on to Immerse, with stunning views from the top of the property always a highlight for shots afterwards. I can’t claim credit for the champagne – that was Michael’s idea! And having the ceremony out in the garden was the perfect choice for a bright sunny Melbourne summer day.
Congratulations again Jess and Michael! 🙂

What a romantic, heartfelt, beautiful ceremony for Leanne and Ben (and Kenzi 😉 ) – I had the privilege of photographing their Marybrooke Manor wedding in late November, 2016.
With preparations for both Ben and Leanne completed, we headed up to Marybrooke where Kenzi, their faithful retriever, was waiting for the vintage Jags to arrive.
The ceremony was warm (unlike the mountain air 😉 ) and thoughtful, with touching individually written vows and contributions from bride and groom.
Check out the shots and read on below for a little more about the day – congrats again Leanne and Ben 🙂
VIDEO Marybrooke Manor Wedding – Leanne and Ben First shot of Kenzi for the day – what a beautiful and well behaved dog. I wish our pooch was as good …. Bride Leanne and her beautiful bridesmaids – a real family affair, which is always very cosy. Petals, please take some – we need them for a photo later on! Kenzi leading the groom and his bridal party down the amazing stone steps that lead to the gazebo garden at Marybrooke. Love those vintage Jags Hard to resist the little pond at Marybrooke – I don’t think many people use it because it’s a bit hidden away, but on a still day I love the reflections. Amazing cupcakes were made by a friend whose cakes, judging by the applause, must have been quite something. A happy bride and groom rejoining the Reception. It was pretty cold out there for the photo shoot – it was nice to bring them back in for a drink and to get warm before the party started. Exzcellent aim on the bouquet and loving the serious expressions on the ladies 🙂 What a beautiful happy a smiling face – hope you had a brilliant day!

In early November 2016, Nina and Brad tied the knot, celebrating their long-awaited wedding at beautiful Wild Cattle Creek winery.
With everyone getting ready at the venue, it was a snap to photograph the guys preparations and then just pop down the hill to where the girls were finishing hair and makeup in the accommodation on site.
Hope you enjoy the shots Nina and Brad – Congratulations again!
Read on below the images for a little more about the day.
Absolutely loved these cute buttonholes for the fellas. What an absolute cutie little E was, and super well-behaved the whole day. In fact, all the kids did brilliantly throughout the day. What a gorgeous group of girls to celebrate with 🙂 Loved the soft light coming through the window in the bedroom of the suite where the girls were getting ready. Special request – something we always try for anyway – the expressions of Groom Brad when his beautiful bride turned the corner … here’s the anticipation … … and here’s the further reaction. Gotta love that smile. Well done Nina on keeping it together that long – after you were welling up during the preparations, I wasn’t sure you’d make it down the aisle without losing some makeup :p The amazing backdrop at Wild Cattle Creek winery. This is probably my favourite shot from the day. Nearly broke my neck getting into position to get it, but it was fun capturing those two amazing people amongst that sea of vines.
The venue was of course, Wild Cattle Creek Winery – check them out at
