Although we’d spoken on the phone, I hadn’t met with Eileen and Paul since they came up to meet me and book in way back in July last year, so it was great to catch up with them again all of the way down at the RACV Club Cape Schanck. Everyone was getting ready on-site there, so it was super easy with everything happening in the one place.

Preparation shots with Paul and his groomsmen was very relaxed and calm – I think the groom might have been a little nervous but who isn’t! Truth be told, I still get a little nervous myself for each wedding, and that’s after shooting over 165 weddings at last count.

Beautiful bride Eileen and her very excited and happy bridesmaids were next door – we could hear from they guys’ side that the girls were having fun – and they were! It was a pretty full house over there which made for lots of laughs and a relaxed pre-wedding preparations http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/antibiotics/ shoot. Some beautiful jewellery made by Eileen’s Mum was a highlight.

With around 100 guests attending the ceremony, it was great to have all the amazing space at the RACV Club to work in.

Then we headed down to the beach for some VERY windy weather on the clifftops. Did I mention it was windy!? The bridal party did a great job in what were some pretty trying conditions. In an email to me last week, Eileen said;

“Hi Jon,

Pictures are fantastic I’m really happy with the entire set. I think you did an amazing job of getting some dramatic beautiful pictures from the lighthouse…. It certainly wasn’t easy.

Thank you once again for an amazing job and memories we will be able to cherish forever.

Kindest regards

Eileen”

It was pretty tricky out there. But everyone was great, and they definitely earnt a couple of drinks at the reception …. Great day, a lot of fun, some new things, and a happy bride and groom – good times.
