Jess and Nic’s Baxter Barn Wedding

Baxter Barn Wedding

On a Saturday in mid-January 2018, I headed back down to the Peninsula to photograph Jess and Nic’s gorgeous Baxter Barn wedding. With storms coming and going throughout the day, it was inevitable that we would have to be aware of it, but it was so great Jess and Nic were able to have their ceremony outside, as that it what the were really, really hoping for. The staff at Baxter Barn did an absolutely amazing job setting up in multiple locations and being able to make the decision to stay outside right up until virtually the last minute.

After bride and groom preparations, we all headed across the Mornington Peninsula to the Baxter Barn wedding location, where Nic was waiting with friends and family for Jess to arrive.

Celebrant Mike delivered a very personal ceremony, and together with Jess and Nic, made a great call to move everyone inside for the signing, as the heavens really did open just after the first kiss.

Congratulations again Jess and Nic, great to see you both again and hope you had an absolutely brilliant day 🙂

A little more about the location …

One of Melbourne’s oldest and most desired wedding locations, a Baxter Barn wedding is really a great mix of country style and elegance. Just a short 40 minutes or so from the city, you really do feel like you’re at a country destination wedding.

With its rustic feel, awesome gardens and a stunning dam to use as part of your wedding photos on the day, there’s just so many options at Baxter Barn to create those wedding shots you’ll be in love with.
