In early Summer 2015, I had the privilege of working with Lou and Joe and photographing their Melbourne church wedding along with their preparations and celebration.
Although they booked me in a while ago (back in March, my booking sheet reveals), I only caught up with them in person a couple of months ago. That day we walked through and around the church, and had a catch up about how everything was going to work on the big day.
Having met Lou and Joe, it was super easy on the wedding day to catch up with them. Being so laid-back, and having awesome friends and family to spend the day with, just makes for such a calm and happy wedding day.
Preparations for bride and groom, followed by a church wedding at the beautiful and bright St. Anthony’s in Carnegie. What an amazing venue – with the balcony, the long aisle and absolutely perfect light. After a very personal and heartfelt ceremony we headed off to capture some bridal shots in a cute little park just down the road.
Check out a sneak peek below – thanks Lou and Joe (and bridal party and families!) for being so amazingly friendly to work with – it was a pleasure to capture your day with you.
