The Willows St Kilda Road – Andrea and Dan
Willows St Kilda Road wedding – I’d been talking via Skype to Andrea and Dan over a year or so in preparation for their Willows St Kilda Road wedding. So it was fantastic to meet them both when they were back from London for their wedding.
Although the weather had been absolutely miserable for the week leading up to the wedding, Saturday came and with it a beautiful Melbourne Autumn afternoon. We shot the ceremony at The Willows St Kilda road, and had one of the most friendly tram drivers in Melbourne help us out with some shots as well. Dancing the afternoon away outside in the sunshine, among the surrounding buildings was the perfect finish to a beautiful ceremony and reception.
Love the look on Andrea’s face here, definitely a couple that likes to have a laugh 🙂
I really like the idea of these boxes. Both Andrea and Dan have written each other a letter, talking about how they feel about each other. The box has inside a good bottle of wine and a couple of glasses. They’ll open it a year from the day, read the letters and enjoy the wine – sounds like the start of a good anniversary.
How cool was this tram driver – he deliberately stopped the tram for us so we could get a shot for the guys. Even better as they are heading back to the UK to live, it will be a great and very Melbourne wedding shot for their album.
A Willows wedding
A Willows wedding – highlights from Anna and David’s wedding at The Willows in Melbourne.
It was an awesome day for a Willows wedding – with the summer light just dying on an evening in January 2013.
The Willows was looking it’s amazing best in the bright sunshine for Anna and David’s wedding. When the beautiful Anna arrived by taxi, you could be sure that this was going to be a laid-back and down to earth affair.
Anna and David (and most of the guests, as it turned out) are from celexa side effects high blood pressure Sydney, so it was great to be able to give them some very Melbourne shots to include in their album.
With the Willows wedding located right on one of our famous boulevards, St Kilda Road, it wouldn’t have been right not to take them out to get a shot down the tram lines.
I really loved some of the black-and-whites in this collection, especially of the gorgeous Anna looking right down the lens, and David with the guys outside the tall black-glassed buildings just down the street.
