I was fortunate enough to have been recommended to Nicoletta and John to capture their wedding ceremony at their chosen church in Balwyn, and then shoot some bridal shots in a beautiful little hidden-secret park , before heading down the road for an awesome reception at their Merrimu Receptions wedding celebration.
Check out the shots, and read on below for a little more about Nicoletta and John’s big day.
Merrimu Receptions Wedding
Both Nicoletta and John got ready at family homes, and they decided not to go for all the “getting ready” shots – just a few portraits at each location.
Then it was on to the amazing Greek church in Balwyn, The Presentation of Our Lady to the Temple. What an awesome building and a beautiful, bright room for a wedding, lit up further by the many, many smiles throughout the ceremony.
Following that, we (being the bridal party and myself) headed to a hidden little park down in East Malvern – I’m not sure I even want to say where it is, because I want to keep it a secret!
And of course, it was then on to the beautiful Merrimu Receptions ballroom to celebrate with some drinking, dancing, and some very thoughtful and heartfelt speeches.
Thanks again to Nicoletta and John for engaging me to capture your fantastic day – hope you loved every minute of it 🙂
