Christina and Ilche – Dome 333 Collins
On Sunday I had the privilege of photographing Christina and Ilche’s big day at The Dome 333 Collins, and on to Lakeside for the reception – and it was a pretty big day!
Beginning with their respective preparations at their parents’ homes, starting with the guys at around 8am as we had a 12.30pm ceremony to prepare for, and there’s always lots to do the morning of a wedding.
Then it was on to Christina’s family’s place just around the corner – well it would have been, if the off ramp wasn’t closed! So thanks to the trusty GPS and some well-placed “detour” signs, myself and videographer Angelo avoided an extended tour of the westerns suburbs and got to Christina’s location to capture the girls and family getting ready.
More words in amongst the pics below, so scroll down to read some more and check out the images.
Congrats again Christina and Ilche – loved working with you all and hope you had a sensational day 🙂

The Dome 333 Collins St Wedding – Christina and Ilche
After leaving the girls, we headed into the CBD to get ready and set for Christina’s arrival. I met the fellas at the Dome, the beautiful ceremony venue that is hidden inside the building at 333 Collins Street in the – you don’t really get closer to the heart of Melbourne than that.
When you walk all the way down from the Flinders Lane entrance, it’s a LONG walk down the aisle. Our bride and groom had plenty of music though, and from a photographer’s point of view we’d much prefer a long walk to a very short one ….
The ceremony was conducted by Dean Sindoni with his usual humour and energy, and it was great to also catch up with him as he was MC’ing the reception as well.
This little guy just didn’t want to be left out – as parents everywhere will know, Mum and Dad can’t be the centre of attention for more than 5 minutes at any one time ….
Vows, rings, and sealed with a kiss – a beautiful wedding for a very lovely couple.
Group shot on the steps at the Flinders Lane entrance, some more shots around the Dome, and we were on our way to the rest of the locations.
A very popular spot for wedding shots in Summer and Autumn, the plane trees have a kind of stark beauty in winter.
Christina and Ilche had built in some time to s top off for an hour or before heading over to the reception – you can’t have an Italian and Macedonian wedding without some coffee!
