Bridget and Mike tied the knot in the chapel Immerse Yarra Valley in November 2019, under sunny skies and with around 80 friends and family looking on – who doesn’t love a winery wedding, especially on a Thursday – I call 4-day-weekend:).
No preparations shots for this couple – Michael and the guys were at Immerse nice and early, ready to go (read: nervous :p). Bridget and her bride-tribe hung out together beforehand before heading to the venue.
The sweet ceremony was conducted by Naomi Korolew, telling stories of how this gorgeous couple met (with some disputed elements! 🙂 ), before they exchanged very personal and unique vows.
Then it was out for some shots around Immerse Yarra Valley until it was time for the happy couple (and patient bridal party) to have a drink and relax before kicking off the reception.
Congratulations again Bridget and Mike 🙂
A few notes on the venue – Immerse Yarra Valley
Immerse Winery is based in the Yarra Valley, just outside the town of Yarra Glen. With an amazing chapel, stunning gardens including a pretty lake and covered gazebo, there are multiple possibilities in terms of where exactly to have your ceremony.
Post ceremony, there are amazing locations by the lake (great for reflections if the weather is calm!), as well as a little island by the lake, rose gardens, and lots of other spots.
Also, an added bonus is the ability (weather/track/venue permitting) to go up the hill and capture breathtaking shots of the entire venue from the top of the hill (there are some in the post above).
If you’re considering an Immerse Winery wedding, you can be sure to have a great ceremony location no matter what the weather, as well as a brilliant dining room with a great dance floor to party the night away.
Jess and Michael’s beautiful Immerse Winery Wedding
It was lovely to be back for another Immerse Winery wedding in December 2016, this time to celebrate the union of Jess and Michael. It seemed like a long time ago they booked with me, and when I checked it was, all the way back in January! Almost a year on and it was great to catch up with them again for their big day.
Preparations were at family homes for both Jess and Michael – which was super handy for all of us. They were literally walking distance from each other in Eltham.
Then it was on to Immerse, with stunning views from the top of the property always a highlight for shots afterwards. I can’t claim credit for the champagne (great idea Michael 😉 ). And having the ceremony out in the garden was the perfect choice for a bright sunny Melbourne summer day.
Congratulations again Jess and Michael! 🙂
