Margarita and Michael’s Maison Melbourne Wedding
Sunday afternoon was perfect for Margarita and Michael’s Maison Melbourne wedding, with Spring sun stream down on us all for their garden ceremony.
First off was preparations with Michael and his guys at a family home – a few drinks, some food, and some time for portraits and “getting ready” shots. The guys were very relaxed, as were the girls when I went on to see them next.
At the girls’ preparations spot in Caulfield, it was also very relaxed. Everyone was cool and enjoying a couple of drinks also, except the cat – I think he did sense what was to come, and although his mini cat-xedo didn’t last long, he did surprisingly well wearing it for as long as he did.
Had a very chilled shoot with Margarita and the girls – and then it was time to head off to the Maison Melbourne wedding location.

There was a considerable amount of tie-tying to be gotten through here – good work lads, they all looked great in the end ;-p

This beautiful whisky carafe and his-n-hers glasses were a gift – what an awesome present for a whisky-loving couple!? I’ve got to admit, I had to restrain myself throughout the day from being offered numerous drinks, whiskies and vodkas – although I’ll be honest and say I did have a quiet drink with the groom late in the evening (at his insistence – thanks Michael 🙂 )

Melbourne wedding photography is never really complete without a local landmark – in this case, Victoria Barracks on St Kilda, being made much more beautiful by Bride Margarita.
It’a long story, but we ended up taking a little break at the Sea Baths – here’s me bugging Margarita for a portrait to take up some of the spare time ….
… and here’s the bridal party enjoying a little snack before we jumped back in the limo.
One of my favourites from the mini-shoot on Kerford Road pier – with the wind blasting, it wasn’t the time to hang around for an extended period!
