Albert Park Yachting and Angling Club
When I arrived at the Albert Park Yachting and Angling Club(early, as always) to get ready for Emma and Andrew’s wedding, the wind was blowing so hard it took two of us to actually open the door. Needless to say, the ceremony, which was planned to be out on the deck, had to be moved inside. This did create some interesting photographic challenges, as the light was super bright behind the ceremony (conducted by Mike Larkin).
After a short but meaningful ceremony, with some great vows written by the couple themselves, we headed out onto the beach as Emma and Andrew really wanted to get some shots towards sunset. With Andrew heading back to sea soon as part of his Navy career, it seemed appropriate (to me at least) that there were some ships in the background of some of the ocean shots. And as we headed back inside for the speeches, we really did get a spectacular sunset behind them through the huge windows.
Then it was party time for young and old alike, with both Nannas and all the kids hitting the dancefloor as well 🙂
Emma and Andrews wedding photos are gorgeous Jon ,you did a fabulous job thank you jan king
Hi there Jan,
Thanks for your comment and kind words, it was great working with Emma and Andrew and your lovely family – everyone was so easy to work with and friendly.
Have a brilliant Christmas and New Year and enjoy the rest of the shots then they’re finished (sometime very soon!)
Cheers,
Jon
