Christina and Marc’s awesome wedding at All Smiles Melbourne Waterfront
On Saturday I had the pleasure of capturing Christina and Marc’s wedding at All Smiles Melbourne Waterfront, which we’d been planning and discussing for around 18 months or so. A couple of changes of dates hadn’t managed to get in the way of it, in fact I think I initially had them booked with another photographer when it turned out I was available on their new date.
So it was brilliant to be able to meet up with them for preparations at Crown Towers, and then just a short drive across to All Smiles Melbourne Waterfront for the the ceremony in front of the amazing view out across the bay.
The weather was an absolute killer, in fact it snowed on the hills up here near home, so I reckon Christina and the girls did brilliantly well even to get outside for some shots. And when the rain stopped later in the evening we were able to use the sculptures just outside the venue for some night shots which I knew they were keen on.
Hope you enjoy the preview – congratulations again Christina and Marc! 🙂
All Smiles Melbourne Waterfront Wedding – Christina and Marc
Just Marc and best man Anthony getting ready together meant that things were super-quick, and very quiet! I think the guys may have one or two lemonades the night before, perhaps that accounted for some of the quietness….
I was a big fan of the light coming through here onto Marc – just regular street light being filtered through some big glass panels outside the casino.
Christina’s gorgeous Raffaele Ciuca dress hanging in the background, with her cute ivory heels with sparkly heels in the foreground.
The cool Black Opium bottle wiht the amazing bouquet in the background.
Bride Christina and her lovely friends and bridesmaids all got ready at Crown as well, in an awesome suite overlooking the river. A beautiful view to look out at while you’re doing your makeup, as well 🙂
Melbourne in the background. I will admit I was wondering about the fire-engine-red shoes for Bridesmaid Teresa, until I saw her dress, when it all made perfect sense.
Always heart-warming to see the love and happiness on wedding days 🙂
The weather on Saturday was brutal, so instead of having guests come down, we decided to keep them up on the balcony at All Smiles Melbourne Waterfront. They’re a little bit tiny in the picture, but you can see from the clouds why they weren’t necessarily keen to come down. It wasn’t raining when I took this shot, but it was very soon after.
We snuck into the little landing on the stairs at All Smiles, before we braved the weather. Christina had said that she definitely wanted a shot on the stairs here, such a feature at the venue.
The weather was absolutely freezing, so I knew I didn’t have long outside with the guys before they started to really suffer, so we were working fast to get as much done as we could before the bridal party froze over.
You can check out from that veil how the wind was whipping around – no need to set up a veil shot, I have about 20 to choose from!
I knew from discussions with Christina that she really, really wanted to get some of these outside shots under the sculptures. So we waited and timed a gap between the heavy showers to snatch a few shots. The rain actually helped out, as it often does, by giving us some great reflections.

Thanks Teresa, you’re very kind! Hope you had a brilliant day. And thanks for the love on Facebook, much appreciated 🙂
