Tatra Receptions was the venue for Tegan and Scott’s long awaited wedding – and what a beautiful wedding it was. Tatra is perched right up at the top of Mount Dandenong, and the shade of its tall trees and being up on the mountain were perfect for a day which wasover 40 degrees for much of Victoria.
I caught up with Tegan again at the cute little Loft in the Mill B&B just down the road. Tegan had her lovely bridesmaids with her and along with a few friends and family while they got ready. Although things were very calm in the early stages, as the time for the wedding approached you could feel the excitement rising. In fact, someone must have been quite nervous as they left their flowers at the B&B and had to send the driver back last minute to get them – but I’m not going to name any names 🙂 It’s one of the benefits of getting ready close to the venue though – someone can easily be sent celexa side effects percentage back if anything’s been left behind.
Very soon it was time for the ceremony to start, and the bridesmaids led beautiful bride Tegan down the aisle accompanied by her Dad. A short, sweet and modern ceremony followed, officiated by the lovely Meg Marshall, who I had the pleasure of working with for the first time.
A group shot, family shots and further bridal photography around the amazing grounds at Tatra, and it was time to head into the Reception and party.
With Popcorn rocking the party, I saw two very memorable dances on the night – the prepared and perfectly executed first dance, and a brave and inspiring solo dance performance like I haven’t seen in a long time. Lucky to be there to capture it and I had an awesome day.
Thanks again Tegan and Scott – it was a pleasure to be a small party of your day. Hope you like this preview 🙂
