On a sunny Saturday in late February 2017 I was privileged to be asked to photograph Andrea and Lloyd’s big day, with their church service at St Mary’s of the Assumption in Keilor Downs and a full-on and amazing celebration at their Luxor wedding reception later in the evening.
Preparations at their family homes were followed by a communion mass at St Mary’s, with the inimitable Father Vic conducting the ceremony.
Then we sped in the awesome stretch hummer limo into the city for an express shoot at Parliament House, and some shots with the trams on Spring Street, which was a priority for Andrea and Lloyd.

Then it was back to Luxor Receptions for the reception, which had so much going on it was brilliant. Everything from pyrotechincs and dry ice, to a traditional English “Grand Parade” through the centre, two sets of speeches, and performance by the bridal party, a band and a DJ – this was a wedding that had it all.
