A beautiful Yarra Valley wedding for Lydia and Kris
On Saturday I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph Lydia and Kris celebrating their marriage with a Warburton Golf Club wedding. Having grown up in “the Valley”, there were lots of friends (old and new), and family around to celebrate this wedding of two genuine high-school sweethearts.
Warburton Golf Club Wedding
What was a foggy morning in the Yarra Valley soon turned into blazing sunshine later in the day, and some beautiful sunset clouds in the evening – but more about that later …
Lydia is well known for her love of animals – her own and everyone else’s I’m not really a bird guy, but this fella was pretty even though he was a bit freaked out by the cameras.
Lydia preparing the fur children with bow ties for their big moment.
A very proud Dad – with 6 kids including 4 girls, that’s a lot of weddings – pretty sure Geoff feels like he’s a pro wedding-Dad by this stage 🙂
Absolutely loved the British Racing Green colour of this awesome vintage machine.
It wouldn’t be a wedding without the kids of the bride and groom attending 🙂
The bridal party sharing a few minutes to chat in the shade of the silo.
Mount Little Joe was specifically mentioned by Lydia as something she wanted in the image, as they live on its’ slopes – as does Millgrove Photography headquarters. In fact I think I can almost see our house from here …. 🙂
Couldn’t resist snapping this shot of Kris doing some footy stretching before the first dance – I was concerned as to what he was going to attempt ….
As the sun was setting, we did get some of the sunset shots that I know the guys were hoping for – with the help of some remote flash triggers.
The ceremony was overlooked by Mount Little Joe and the Donna Buang range at the stunning Warburton Golf Club – http://www.warburtongolf.com.au/
