Kim and Harry’s Alowyn Gardens Wedding was our first of 2018, and after lots of Skype chats, emails and a great meeting in person at Alowyn Gardens in late December, it was amazing to have Kim and Harry fly in from their adopted home in Sydney to celebrate with their family and friends.
As they were in from out of town, everyone had gathered at local accommodation, and it was there we started with preparations for both Harry and Kim, before heading down to amazing Alowyn Gardens for the ceremony.
You’ll see a couple of water-bottle shots in the images below – I’ve left those in there as drinking lots of water was a big part of everyone’s day, given the temperature was hovering right around the 40C mark – it was hot, it was bright, but that didn’t stop everyone having a brilliant time.
Post ceremony we shot some family and bridal party images, then stopped for everyone have a drink and celebrate with a reception under the courtyard shade. Then, when it cooled off a little later, we shot some more bridal images and then headed down to the Yarra Valley Grand to continue the party.
