I always know it’s going to be a great day when I arrive where the groom’s getting ready and find a relaxed and happy bunch of guys, and that was absolutely the case when I met Mick and the guys in a very Eltham-y house in Eltham, before their long-awaited Inglewood Estate wedding.
Then I headed down to see bride Ashlee and her lovely family for the girls preparations not far away. And the dog, of course! It was really a contrast in sizes of people – being a “smaller statured” person myself, I felt like a little person among Mick and his family, but I reckon I was almost the tallest at Ash’s place – which is a rare thing for me! We had some fun getting some great getting ready shots and few posed pre-wedding shots before heading off to the venue.
I love covering an Inglewood Estate wedding – a great chapel that’s perfect for either indoor or outdoor wedding, and lots of gorgeous locations around the property for interesting and different images – you could shoot for hours there using different spots and ideas.
But with the sun setting, we didn’t have hours – so it was on to the reception and a rocking band to push the dance floor along. Great day 🙂 Congratulations Ash and Mick!
Thanks again to Ash and Mick for having me photograph your awesome Inglewood Estate wedding 🙂
