Steph and Josh’s Carousel Melbourne Wedding

Steph and Josh tied the knot with a stunning Carousel Melbourne wedding, overlooking Albert Park lake and the unique city skyline.

The afternoon started with me calling in on Steph for her preparations – with both bride and groom keeping things very casual and unforced, they’d decided to just have me catch some shots of Josh already at the venue instead of including a groom prep-photos session.

After capturing detail shots, and the girls finishing hair and makeup, gorgeous bride Steph was ready to get into that amazing dress.

Then it was on – via Uber – to the ceremony – did I say that we were keeping things super laid-back today?

A modern and perfectly toned ceremony from celebrant Paul O’Donohue, and before you knew it, Steph and Josh were hitched.

Then it was outside onto the beautiful Carousel forecourt for a big group shot, family portraits, and then Steph and Josh’s photo shoot – kept fairly brief on purpose, so they could head back in a party with their guests.

Congratulations again Steph and Josh! 🙂

I think this might be my favourite portrait of Steph 🙂

Amazing blue spring skies over Carousel at Albert Park – unfortunately the wind didn’t play along, and we had to move the ceremony inside instead of being out on the deck.

Checked with Annie on whether to include this one, but she likes it so here it is. The view from inside the room before Steph and her Dad entered. Just a silhouette, and it’s what we all inside were watching, but something Steph and her Dad have no other way of ever seeing!

A group this size needs a ladder – thanks to the folks at Carousel for providing theirs meaning I didn’t need to bring mine along!

Steph’s stunning veil in the Melbourne breeze – It was to prove a bit too much at a couple of stages but they managed it beautifully.

Not sure what Josh was whispering, but whatever it was it got the right reaction 🙂
