Joh and Pete, Melbourne Registry Office and The European

Melbourne Registry Office wedding

Melbourne Registry Office

In January 2014, I had the pleasure of photographing Joh and Pete’s Melbourne Registry Office wedding, and I couldn’t have hoped for a more fun and engaging couple to spend the day with.

We started with Pete’s preparations, which included a couple of good Scotches and some very entertaining and engaged groomsmen – I could tell right away that this day was going to go great.

A relaxed Pete waiting for “go time” – they guys were ready in plenty of time so I think there was a bit of time to relax before the headed into town towards the Registry Office.

Joh’s dress and other accessorites laid out before she was to get dressed. With all the girls getting ready at the Grand Hyatt just around the corner from the Registry Office, it made life very easy for us all to get across for the wedding ….

… so easy, in fact, that the beautiful bride and her family just made the walk across – a perfect way to sum up how relaxed, down-to-earth and simply elegant Joh and Pete’s wedding was.

The reception was held at The European, a super cool spot above the Melbourne Supper Club. Thanks for a great day Joh and Pete 🙂 .
